Lutz Cardinal von Widdern (born 1956) joined hkp/// group in April 2017.
He first qualified as an insurance broker with Victoria, before taking on various HR and line functions at the company.
In spring 1991 he left Victoria as head of department with overall responsibility for network activities in Germany, Austria and Portugal. He then joined Bayer Group, where he was initially responsible for a variety of areas in company pensions, in positions ranging from Chairman of the Board of Bayer pension funds in Germany to having global responsibility for the design and financing of pension schemes for the Group's foreign subsidiaries.
In October 2006 he was appointed Global Head of Compensation & Benefits, responsible for all aspects of compensation and benefits for all levels of the hierarchy. In parallel, he was responsible for the compensation of the management and supervisory boards of the Bayer Group from 2009 until his departure in March 2017.
