Looking back on a Performance Management Roundtable Switzerland hosted by hkp/// group
Zurich, May 30, 2017. To facilitate the regular exchange among those responsible for Performance Management at their organizations, gain market insights and assist participants with driving the development of Performance Management in their own organizations, hkp/// group invited a select group of Swiss companies to join a regular Roundtable.
The first meeting on 18th May 2017 was attended by representatives from Bosch, Kuehne + Nagel, KUKA, LGT Bank, RUAG, Swisscom, Swiss Re and a major Swiss bank, who used the opportunity of a full day of exchange on best practice, market insights and networking. An additional five companies from different industries are also part of the Roundtable group, but could not attend the first meeting.
The format of the event proved particularly useful in facilitating mutually beneficial discussions and participants were given first-hand insights into the design and implementation of the Performance Management systems of other Swiss companies. It quickly became obvious that a number of companies are experimenting with new systems and processes rather than using off-the-shelf solutions, as was often the case in the past.
The approaches that are being developed by Swiss companies are as diverse as the companies themselves, ranging from tweaks being made to the classical approach to the development of pilots on discontinuing rankings, compulsory feedback and/or guided distributions in a lab-like manner.
The diversity of companies present resulted in a fruitful discussion and exchange among participants, which was facilitated by hkp/// group experts Barbara Seta and Frank Gierschmann. Last but not least, the Performance Management Roundtable also provided an opportunity to network with professionals of the same discipline in different industries.
Given the success of the first meeting, hkp/// group will organize the Roundtables twice a year to support the community of senior Performance Management professionals in Switzerland. Due to the non-public nature of the meetings, attendance is by invitation only and the admission of new members will be subject to approval by existing members.
